Hearthbound is a text-based roleplay server built around Hytale. It’s a place where players create their own characters, make their own choices, and shape their own stories over time. You can choose between four races - Humans, Dwarves, Elves, and Orcs - and build an experience that fits the kind of character you want to play.
The world is built on a single, continuous hand-crafted map. Each race has its own settlements and towns, all built to feel distinct and grounded in the world. Some characters start out as simple travelers, others as traders, soldiers, or scholars. Where you end up depends on the decisions you make - including the possibility of ruling a kingdom.
Hearthbound is run by a long-standing roleplay community with over 15 years of experience in text-based RP. Our focus is on strong, consistent roleplay supported by Hytale’s mechanics, not replaced by them. We use custom plugins to handle character progression in a way that stays flexible and story-driven.
